A beloved all-day dining destination where timeless charm meets modern hospitality is seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry and bakery program. This is a hands-on, creative leadership role for a culinary professional who brings technical expertise, artistic vision, and operational discipline to a dynamic, high-volume kitchen.The ideal candidate combines a passion for pastry artistry with a deep understanding of production systems, quality control, and seasonal menu development. This individual will lead a talented team, ensuring consistency, precision, and innovation across all pastry offerings—from viennoiserie and plated desserts to special events and retail items.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily pastry and bakery production for restaurant service and events
- Lead and train the pastry team to uphold quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Develop and execute seasonal menus and new product initiatives aligned with the brand’s culinary vision
- Manage ordering, inventory, costing, and waste reduction across the pastry department
- Collaborate with Executive Chef and FOH teams to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction
- Maintain compliance with all DOH, sanitation, and safety standards
- Foster a positive, growth-oriented kitchen culture built on collaboration and respect
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef in a high-volume, elevated dining environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Creative and precise approach to pastry design, flavor, and texture
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience managing production schedules, costing, and inventory systems
